A Small Step for Us, a Giant Leap for Street Dogs
On February 1, 2025, the Wake Up India Foundation, Ranchi Chapter, had the privilege of partnering with the incredible team at @streetdogsofranchi for a heartfelt initiative aimed at making a tangible difference in the lives of street dogs. Together, we embarked on a mission to enhance the safety and well-being of these furry companions by donating 50 reflective collars. This simple yet essential intervention is designed to increase their visibility at night, providing them with much-needed protection as they navigate the bustling streets of Ranchi.
For street dogs, the nighttime poses a significant challenge. The roads can be treacherous, and without proper visibility, these animals are at high risk of accidents. By ensuring that these collars reflect light, we are not only improving their safety but also creating a safer environment for everyone who shares the streets with them.
